Many, many others too numerous to list, including hundreds/probably thousands of friends, relatives, suppliers, and primarily customers who regularly parked in front of Angel Studio over more than a thirty year span of time. The Color Shop, which preceeded my business, was also a quite active business during the 60's, where customers regularly parked in front. The Photography Studio was a very active business from 1970 until 1988 when it was sold, which predated the existing zoning codes thus grandfathering it's usage. Although activity and usage declined after 1988, the new owner himself, regularly parked in front.

Not only do we have a police chief who illegally orders tickets to be issued for "sidewalk obstruction" while a vehicle is parked completely and totally on private property , but.....

The Big Question is .... How can you possibly trust Borough Officials, including Police and former Fire chief, whose testimony under oath, was absolutely and completely contrary to reality?

Borough Solicitor Fred E Baxter Jr, elicited testimony from the following individuals (all connected to The Borough of wEST vIEW in one way or another) under oath, to the effect that they did not see, or were not aware of any established pattern of parking at 479 Perry Highway, and that their observations took place over as long as a 30 year period of time or more.

How could any credibility whatsoever be placed on what any of these individuals testified they saw or didn't see..... when evidently, none of them even noticed a shredded flag on display 24/7 for months at a time, without ever being replaced.

.....This entire situation was precipitated by an ill-informed, not very smart, over zealous police chief, Charles Holtgraver. Holtgraver, contrary to the Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Code , illegally and repeatedly ordered parking citations for "sidewalk obstruction" to be issued for my vehicle. The vehicle was parked totally and completely on private property in an area where vehicles had parked for well over 30 years, thus "grandfathering" the usage. ....Evidently, in an attempt to save face for the heavy-handed chief, numerous current and former Borough officials testified under oath, to the effect that they had never seen parking there. That testimony was perjury in my opinion, since there is absolutely no way that these officials could have failed to see this usual, typical, every-day occurance over that period of time. .....Complicit in this railroading, was the President of the wEST vIEW Zoning Board, AKA the wEST vIEW Tribunal, Pittsburgh Attorney Dennis A Watson. As President of the West View Zoning Board, he completely disregarded firsthand testimony from numerous people who parked there, as well as photographic evidence which established the grandfathering of parking at this location for more than a 30 year period. The deck was further stacked since Watson and Borough Solicitor Fred E Baxter Jr. were former law partners. ...For years I have been subjected to dealing with the wEST vIEW Autocrats in a mere civil matter. It is completely beyond my comprehension how anyone involved in a criminal proceeding could expect to be treated fairly in the Borough of wEST vIEW. How pitiful. What a pathetic epitaph! ....This website is dedicated to calling attention to these evil people.
